ITEMS TO PRAY FOR DURING COVID-19

Join us as we pray for the following:

  •  Pray for our Leaders, that they will respond with wisdom in this situation
  • Pray against the confusion desperation and fear that has engulfed many in our nation
  • Pray for Drs, Nurses and medical personal who carry the huge load putting their own lives on the line
  • Pray for people in high density areas like Diepsloot who are in close quarters, that the most vulnerable will be protected from evil.
  • Pray for the teachers who have to try to teach meaningfully and remotely and for the parents of the children who have to try get their education across.
  • Pray that people in all areas will take this lockdown seriously
  • Pray for alcoholics and those with substance abuse issues that will be going through withdrawal that God would use this time to set them free.
  • Pray for the Police and the Army for their protection and safety
  • Pray for the homeless
  • Pray for people who are alone and for single parents
  • Pray that people will recognise that God is in control and turn to him
  • Pray for Churches, Ministers, Pastors and Lay church staff
  • Pray for victims of domestic violence who are locked down with their abuser.
  • Pray for those with mental health issues especially people who are struggling with depression and anxiety
  • Pray for the elderly and those who are critically ill who can’t receive visitors, and for their families who can’t visit them
  • Pray against crime
  • Pray for a new unity in our country and in our church
  • Pray for tolerance as people are locked up together
  • Pray that employers can keep as many workers on as possible
  • Pray for small businesses
  • Praise and thankfulness for those who have recovered and the medical advancements that have been made
